2026 Registration

Your entry fee covers race entry, USA Cycling rider insurance, timed seeding and finals, and series points toward the overall championship.

Lift tickets aren't sold online or in your race-entry checkout — you buy them in person at the resort. We've negotiated a heavily discounted racer lift pass at every venue for all registered racers — pricing varies by venue (from $75). Check the event page for that round's price.

All MSC races are 3-day events (Friday–Sunday). You are not required to be there all 3 days, but it is strongly recommended — especially since all racers must complete a minimum of 2 practice laps before racing (USA Cycling rule).

Thursday — Check-in and track walk (no riding)

Friday — Check-in and open practice (all categories)

Saturday — Practice (all categories) and Pro/Cat 1 seeding runs

Sunday — Race day. All categories. Cat 2/3 finals in the morning, Pro & Cat 1 finals in the afternoon.

Important: All racers must complete a minimum of 2 practice laps before their race runs (USA Cycling rule). Use Thursday track walk and Friday/Saturday practice to get your laps in.

USA Cycling License

Yes. All MSC events are USA Cycling (USAC) sanctioned. You'll need a membership and race license through the USA Cycling Sport80 portal. A one-day license is available during registration, but an annual license is required for riders pursuing category upgrades.

Categories

USA Cycling determines category placement based on license history. New riders typically begin in Cat 3. Upgrading requires holding an annual license and meeting USA Cycling upgrade criteria.

We strongly recommend as much protection as possible. While the only true requirements are a full-face helmet and a mechanically sound bike, we suggest elbow pads, knee pads, chest protection, and goggles. The safer you are, the better the overall experience.

Your racing age is calculated as your age on December 31, 2026. This is a standard USA Cycling rule and determines your age category for the entire season — regardless of your actual birthday during the year.

This applies to all age-based categories — Youth, Junior, and the adult age groups.

Season Pass and individual race registrations are non-refundable.
