- Push notification tokens: if you enable push notifications in the App, we collect your device token to deliver race updates, schedule changes, course holds, and result alerts. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

- Providing the Services: processing photo purchases, fulfilling orders, managing your account, delivering race results and standings, enabling race check-in, and powering Live Activities and widgets on your device
- Authentication: verifying your identity via one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your phone number
- Race operations: displaying schedules, live results, season standings, course status updates, and venue information
- Linked rider profiles: allowing you to link up to four rider profiles to your account for family or household use, so you can follow multiple riders’ results and receive relevant notifications
- Photo services: displaying race photos tagged by bib number and processing purchases through our payment provider
- Marketing and communications: sending promotional communications about MSC events and partners (you may opt out at any time)
- Security and fraud prevention: authenticating accounts and detecting fraudulent activity
- Improving the Services: analyzing usage patterns to improve app performance and user experience

Race Results and Public Information
Race results, standings, and rider information (name, bib number, category, team, finish times) are inherently public sporting data. This information is displayed within the App, on our website, and may be shared with sanctioning bodies (USAC), timing partners, and media outlets. By registering for an MSC event, you acknowledge that your race participation and results are public.
Third-Party Websites and Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, including BikeReg (event registration), social media platforms, and sponsor sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Race results and standings are retained indefinitely as part of the historical sporting record.
